Thank you for your interest in the unique opportunity to own Bighorn mountaintop
property! As you will see in the video and the photos, this remote real estate
is ideally suited for the person who loves the outdoors or "getting away
from it all". Whether for hunting, fishing or just beautiful scenery, this
area of the Bighorns is outstanding. The property is located approximately seventy-five minutes west of Buffalo, Wyoming. You can reach the property by traveling west on Highway 16 towards Ten Sleep. Hazelton Road (County HY 3), which turns south from Highway 16, is approximately twenty-five miles west of Buffalo. Follow Hazelton Road for thirty miles until you find the slight right angle turn in the road that has a fence corner to the left - the view is documented on the video. When you turn off Hazelton Road, the property is on the right and the first gate is seen from the road. You will receive the combination to the locked gate and the right to cross the property. Proceed until you see the large pinkish colored rock outcropping and make a sharp right turn (if you continue straight ahead, you will come to a creek). The rock outcropping is also documented on your video where the first antelope are walking out of sight. There is no lock on the second or third gate; just close them behind you. . The property has access to both the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and State of Wyoming land, totaling more than 5,000 acres. You will find the view beautiful and be pleased with the excellent habitat for Elk, Mule Deer and a variety of prairie game birds. The video provides several minutes of both the animals and scenery from the property and BLM land. Although some of the hunting scenes are not from the LLC property itself I thought you might enjoy Wyoming hunting at its best. Our first year father-son hunt was outstanding with both of us taking a bull elk and mule deer buck. My son tagged a 7X7 scoring net 353 and I tagged a 5X4, both on the first day in the first three hours of our hunt. Both elk and mule deer were bow kills. Since that time we have consistently harvested Bull Elk with this last season totaling 3 out of 4 hunters taking 6X6 bulls and 2 of them were over 320 P&Y. The Elk footage seen on our video was all filmed on our last hunt. Most of the footage was shot on our LLC and a 320+ bull was harvested on LLC #2. The other 2 were taken on adjoining land locked public land. You could spend thousands with an outfitter and never see bulls this size. This was archery, self guided, private and public land hunting and it doesn't get much better than that. Best of all, when you no longer want to hunt your own land you can sell it for more than you paid for it.
